About the Mojo Gypsies
Based in the central NJ/Philly area, Dave Orban and the Mojo Gypsies have been performing regionally since 1998, bringing their unique blend of up-tempo blues and old-school R&B to appreciative audiences at clubs, festivals, and private events. Their most recent CD, “I Heard You Twice the First Time,” was released in September 2016, followed by a couple of singles. Orban is hard at work preparing material for an upcoming CD, to be released sometime in 2022.

Dave Orban Inducted into New Jersey Blues Hall of Fame
/by adminOrban was quite surprised at the recognition, but had this to say: “It’s truly an honor to be recognized in this way, but I would be remiss if i did not acknowledge the fine musicians with whom I share the stage, each time we go out. Mike Scott, Flourtown Fats, and Mark Shewchuk work hard to help me deliver our unique blend of up-tempo blues and old-school R&B, and I am grateful for their talent and support. They ultimately share this award with me.”
